THE FIRST COWGIRL SPA RETREAT WAS AMAZING! WOW, what a Kick!!! We had a fantastic group of gals and horses. The food was out of this world, cooked by our own "Gourmet Chef" Robin Fisher. Barb had a blast working with each horse and rider; Jeff Moore from Eastern Oregon was here to do healing body work on horses; and Karen Briskey, LMP did relaxing massages for people! Can't beat this fantastic team!! You can still join us September 23-26 for our next Cowgirl Spa! Don't miss it! You can still learn with Barb this fall at the Horse Play Ranch. It is a special place, with an amazing instructor, and an opportunity to melt away the barriers to achieving your goals with your horse.

Nestled between several acres of lovely green horse pasture and a cool fern covered forest, is the tangible beginnings of Barb Apple’s dream: a place where folks can come to enjoy the smells, sights and sounds of the country, a place to spend un-interrupted time with their horse and take advantage of the teachings of one of the Top Natural Horsemanship instructors in the USA and Canada. 
Barb Apple’s Horse Play Ranch is located east of Olympia, WA about 35 to 40 minutes off I-5 near Yelm, WA. Besides a lovely setting the 20 acres of pasture and forest provide a great variety of play ground from trail courses to a 80 x 140 fenced arena. 
The brand spanking new ranch house and bunk house are at the touch up stage of construction, the out door fenced arena is 70’ x 140’ with 12 x 12 Nobel Panel stalls. The Bunk house, which over looks the pasture, the horse stalls and arena, has a kitchenette, two full baths, two large bunkrooms, a great room and a deck complete with large new Hot Springs hot tub.
The ranch does not furnish horses for riding for the general public. If you are interested in a class and live so far away bringing your horse is not an option, we can usually make arrangements for a lease horse, just let us know in advance.
The ranch will also be available to small horse and non-horse social and corporate functions that want a lovely peaceful place to have a retreat, meetings or just a getaway for those needing to relax away from the hustle and bustle of everyday city life. relax in the quiet settings of the horse ranch while
